Sales tax is based on the shipping address for your order.
The sales tax amount is based on the state, local, and municipality tax rate for the shipping destination on your order, and is applied to all orders.
But, I live in a state that does not charge sales tax.
Even if you live in a state with no sales tax, you will still be charged sales tax when shipping an order to a state that does charge sales tax.
Sales tax is based on the destination for the order, not the billing address or location.
For example: Let's say you live in Portland, Oregon, and do not pay sales taxes. However, you are placing an order for a loved one in Arizona. Your order would be charged sales tax based on the tax rate of the shipping destination in Arizona.
But, what if I'm tax-exempt?
We do not offer tax exemptions on any online order. Even if a business or a person is exempted from paying sales tax, they are still subjected to sales tax for a personal purchase from our website.
